February 3, 2010 - The board of directors of The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited is pleased to announce the election of Jeffrey C. Heath as a new board member.
Mr. Heath currently serves as Executive Vice-President & Group Treasurer for the Scotiabank Group. He is responsible for managing the treasury and investment operations on a global basis, including Scotiabank's public and private investment portfolios, medium-term and capital funding, and overall asset and liability management.
Mr. Heath joined Scotiabank in 1995 as Senior Vice-President, Risk Management and Control. He was appointed to his present position in March 2008.
Prior to joining Scotiabank, Mr. Heath joined McLeod Young Weir in 1985 (subsequently renamed ScotiaMcLeod) as Vice-President & Treasurer. He was appointed Director, Senior Vice-President & Treasurer in 1987.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen's University and is a chartered accountant. |
